Orville Joseph Mausolf

ORVILLE J. MAUSOLF Orville J. Mausolf age 82 of Harbor Beach passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Port Huron Hospital. Orville was born on March 29, 1925 to the late Joseph & Mayme (Kramer) Mausolf. He then married Marie Geiger on October 2, 1948 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. Orville was a life member of the VFW, a life member of the Knights of Columbus, HB Lions Club, a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, and a member of the Ushers Club. Orville worked a variety of jobs including; Truck Driver for Coca Cola, Driver for Tanton Construction, Driver for Thumb Transit, a School Bus Driver, and owned his own business, Case Implement. He also worked in Real Estate in the St. Clair Area. He is survived by his wife Marie, of Harbor Beach, children; Ron Mausolf and his wife Kathy of Port Hope, Linda Cook and her husband Dan of Harbor Beach, Bonnie Erdody and her husband Ronn of Bay City, Dan Mausolf and his wife Liana of Honolulu, Hawaii, Diane Manenti of Bad Axe, Cindy Oparka and her husband Tom of Harbor Beach, Jean Mausolf of Gagetown and Joan Mausolf of Gagetown. 17 grandchildren; Chris (Sara) Mausolf, Scott (Marci) Mausolf, Chad (Stacey) Ward, Crystal (Brett) Whitman, Kyle Mausolf, Kelsey, Mausolf, Ryan (Jen) Cook, Tina Cook, Shannon (Mike) Pischak, Nicole Erdody, Lindsey Erdody, Lia Mausolf, Cole Mausolf, Aaron Manenti, Nikki Manenti, Erica Oparka and her fiancé Jeremy Braun, and Abbie Oparka. 2 great grandchildren, Branden Ward and Cameron Mausolf. 3 brothers; Marvin (Marlene) Mausolf, Donald (Arley) Mausolf, and Warren Mausolf. 5 sisters; Colette (Bill) Grekowicz, Charlotte (Leon) Baker, Elaine (Pete) Scherba, Jean (Ron) Armstrong, and Sharon (Jim) Schornack Orville was preceded in death by two infant sons, and one son David Mausolf. And one sister Doreen Wruble. Funeral mass for Orville will be Friday at 11:30 am in the Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church of Harbor Beach, with Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk officiating, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Orville will be Thursday from 1-9pm in the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, and on Friday beginning in the church at 10 am until time of services at 11:30. Knights of Columbus will be offering a Rosary service at 7:00pm on Thursday, and a Parish Vigil Service will take place at 7:30 pm Thursday. The Harbor Beach VFW Post will be offering Military honors at the cemetery.
