Robert Donald Pawlowski

ROBERT D. PAWLOWSKI, age 72 of Harbor Beach, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at his home under hospice care, with his family at his side. He was born on August 9, 1938 in Detroit to the late Joseph and Celia (Jankos) Pawlowski. He grew up and graduated from the Cass City High School. Robert and Delores Swartz were united in marriage on June 11, 1966 in Sacred Heart Church of Bad Axe. Bob worked as a police officer for the Cass City Police Department, he also worked at General Cable in Cass City and was a supervisor at Walbro Corporation in Bad Axe. Bob was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, where he was an usher. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 11432 of Harbor Beach. Bob loved woodworking, fishing, hunting, gardening and camping. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Delores of Harbor Beach, and their children: David Pawlowski and special friend Kathi of Akron, Lenai Gehring and her husband William of Harbor Beach, Corinne Glaza and her husband Robert of Ruth, Richard Pawlowski and his wife Jessica of Harbor Beach, Brian Pawlowski and his wife Tracy of Harbor Beach, Colleen Lipskey and her husband Jason of Harbor Beach, and daughter-in-law Melisa Pawlowski of Harbor Beach. Grandchildren: Haley, Jeremy and Cody Pawlowski, Aaron, Brandon, Alyssa and Renee Gehring, Nathan Nichole, and Nadine Glaza, Victoria and Derek Pawlowski, Kory and Kenyon Pawlowski, Jordan and Kaylin Lipskey, step grandchildren; Kayla and Kyle McDaniel, and foster grandchildren: Natasha Whitehorn, Shana Murphy and Michael Hartz. Sisters Charlotte Williamson of Caro, Dorothy Murrish and her husband Fred of Ohio and Marguerite Krywko of Caro. Bob was preceded in death by sister Virginia Mis, brother-in-laws Frank Hodges, Walter Mis, Eugene Krywko and Albert Kucharczyk. And Mother and Father-in-law Norman and Angeline Swartz. Funeral Mass for Bob will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 1 pm in Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, with Fr. William Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in OLLH Church Cemetery. Visitation for Bob will be Monday from 1-9pm in the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Tuesday will be in the church beginning at 12 noon until time of services at 1 pm. A Parish Vigil Service will take place on Monday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. The Knights of Columbus will be doing a Rosary on Monday at 7 pm. Memorials can be given to the Family Discretionary Fund.
