Bernice M. Kloska

BERNICE M. KLOSKA, age 96 of Harbor Beach, went home to be with her husband on November 11, 2022 at Meadow Lane Assisted Living of Bad Axe, with her family by her side, under hospice care. She was born on January 10, 1926 in Harbor Beach to the late Robert and Lottie (Minard) Wood. She attended Harbor Beach Community School. She married Arthur Kloska on June 5, 1943. They had lived all their married life on Schock Road. Art preceded her in death in 1988. Bernice spent her life raising their five children and farming. She loved baking cakes and making blankets for the grandchildren. She did genealogy for the Wood and Kloska families. Bernice also spent 16 winters in Arizona with her sister Ruth. Bernice is survived by her two sons: Michael (Nancy) Kloska of East Tawas, Perry (Karen) Kloska of Romeo, three daughters: Linda (Marvin) Roggenbuck of Leesburg, Florida, Dayle (Eugene) Pollum of Minden City, Mary Lou Sasta of Texas, 14 grandchildren: Lisa (Dave) Klebba, Brad (Emily) Kloska, Renee (Brian) Thomas, Jeffrey (Drita) Roggenbuck, Jim Pollum (Mary), Neil (Amanda) Pollum, Sharon Stein, Erica (Jonn) Springsdorf, Perry M. (Nikkie) Kloska, Tera Johnson (Brandon) James, Alaine Johnson (Luke), Jeremy (Lindsey) Joseph, Michael (Elise) Joseph, AJ Joseph and Meagen, 17 great grandchildren: Abby, Logan and Kelsey Kloska, Allison Collins, Nicholas & Sofia Roggenbuck, Bailey, Lucas, Noah and Shane Stein, Dirk & Charlie Springsdorf, Eleanor, Elliot Pollum, Arthur and Barret Joseph, Rose and Walter Joseph and Tyruss & Ciarah Wharram, and Trevor James; sister Ruth Turner of Arizona, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers Emerson (Ruth) Wood and Burton (Dorothy) (Verna) Wood, and two sisters: Margaret (Glenn ”Red”) Blashill, Barbara (Wally) Hammond and Phillip Turner, MD. Funeral Services for Bernice will be Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 11 am at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, with Pastor Peter Orlando, officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Bernice will be on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Wednesday will begin at 10 am until time of services at 11 am.
