Delores A. Pawlowski

Delores A. (Swartz) Pawlowski, age 77, of Harbor Beach entered eternal life on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was born on December 31, 1943 to the late Norman and Angeline (Schroeder) Swartz. She grew up in Argyle until moving to the family farm in Harbor Beach. She graduated from Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic School. Her and Robert Pawlowski were united in marriage on June 11, 1966 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Bad Axe Delores spent her time working at her family’s restaurant, Al’s Restaurant, as well as catering with her family. She also worked at Hamill Manufacturing in Ubly, and enjoyed bowling. Delores and Robert opened their home and hearts to welcome foster children into their family. She enjoyed working outside in her flower beds, especially with her rosebushes. Delores loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delores is survived by her children: David and his wife Karen of Unionville, Lenai Gehring and her husband William of Harbor Beach, Corinne Glaza and her husband Robert of Ruth, Richard and his wife Jessica of Harbor Beach, Brian Pawlowski of Harbor Beach, and Michael Hartz of Harbor Beach. Grandchildren: Haley, Jeremy, and Cody Pawlowski; Aaron, Brandon, Alyssa, and Renee (Zac Bolsby) Gehring; Nathan, Nichole, and Nadine Glaza; Victoria and Derek Pawlowski; Kory and Kenyon Pawlowski; and Jordan and Kaylin Lipskey. Great-grandchildren: Colson Stratford and Wesley Bolsby. Siblings: Fred (Glenda) Swartz, Charles (Judy) Swartz, Robert (Sherry) Swartz, Pat (Jack) Emerick, Shirley Messing, and James (Rita) Swartz, as well as many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Delores was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert, daughter Colleen Lipskey, daughter-in-law Melisa Pawlowski, father and mother-in-law Joseph and Celia Pawlowski, sisters Lylan (Albert) Kucharczyk, Mildred (Norman) Kozfkay, and brother-in-law Allen Messing. Funeral mass for Delores will be Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 11 am, at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, with Fr. George Amos officiating. Burial will follow in the OLLH Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Tuesday, will be from 10 am until time of services at 11 am. Memorials can be given to the Family Discretionary Fund.
