Mary Ann Holdwick

Mary Ann Holdwick, 75, of Harbor Beach passed away September 25, 2023 at Harbor Beach Community Hospital under hospice care surrounded by her loving family. Mary Ann was born February 23, 1948 to the late Irvin and Connie (Forthoffer) Weber. She married Paul Holdwick on August 19, 1967 and they shared 56 wonderful years of love & laughter together. Mary Ann lived a life of faith and was an active member of Holy Name of Mary Parish at St. Anthony’s of Helena where she was a member of the Altar Society and Christian Service. She was a dedicated & caring mother and there was never any doubt about who was in charge. She was also a devoted farm wife and was ready to make a parts run or bring food to the field at a moment’s notice. When not on the go, she could be found in the office managing the farm’s books with a BLUE pen. Mary Ann enjoyed camping, feeding birds (not squirrels!), playing bingo, watching game shows, hot fudge sundaes and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s school & sporting events. She will always be remembered for the countless cards and thank you notes she sent for every occasion. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Paul; her children Corinne (Kevin) Schornack, Jeffrey (Wendy) Holdwick, Connie (Jim) Emming and Jason (Lindsay) Holdwick; her grandchildren Derek, Dylan & Jenna Schornack, Allison (fiancé Richard Booms), Kaylee & Kyle Holdwick, Devin, Regan & Carson Emming, Lyla & Nash Holdwick; siblings Marshall (Ginny) Weber, Br. Richard Weber, Gloria (Julius) Traub, Carl (Sue) Weber, Doug Weber, Karen (Gordy) Clor, Patricia (Richard) Kolar, Robert (Laurie) Weber, Linda (Scott) Smith; brothers-in-law William (Audrey) Holdwick, Gene (Audrey) Holdwick; sisters-in-law Rosalia Holdwick, Theresa Holdwick, Marie Holdwick, Linda Kirsch, Marge (Dave) Androl, Dorothy Holdwick, Barb (Bob) Ingles, Patricia (Carl) Roth; an abundance of nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brothers Dennis & Merlin; goddaughter Tracy (Weber) Humpert; in-laws Jerome & Stella Holdwick; brothers-in law Richard Holdwick, Harold Holdwick, Robert Emming, Edward Holdwick, Kenneth Kirsch, Erwin (Ike) Holdwick, Dennis (Goldy) Holdwick, Brian Holdwick; sisters-in-law Arlene Emming and Mary Holdwick. Funeral Mass for Mary Ann will be Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. Kevin Wojciechowski officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anthony Church Cemetery. Visitation for Mary Ann will be Wednesday, from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Thursday, will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. The family would like to thank the staff at HB Community Hospital, Beaumont – Royal Oak, East Huron Ambulance and Promedica for their compassionate treatment & support.
