Dorothy A. Wilbur Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dorothy A. Wilbur, age 95 of Harbor Beach, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Harbor Beach Community Hospital. She was born on October 1, 1926 in Detroit to the late Frank and Helen (Litz) Wartner. Dorothy and Charles Wilbur were united in marriage on February 7, 1948 in East Detroit. He preceded her in death on July 30, 1993. Dorothy worked many years with the Great Lakes Steel Company.. She was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years, and the Red Hats. Dorothy is survived by her children: Helen (Mark) Jurewicz of St. Clair Shores, Linda (Jessie) Hutchings of Hale, Mary (Special Friend Victor Carabott) Dennisuk of Port Charlott, Florida, Elizabeth (Chuck) Kerns of Nevada, Josephine (Jerry) Schave of Kinde, 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her children: Donna Wilbur and Charles, Charles Wilbur, Jr., Joan Guitar, and son-in-law David Dennisuk, siblings: Shirley Hader, Frank Wartner, Melvin Wartner, and Helen. Funeral Services for Dorothy will be Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:30 am at the Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Dorothy will be on Saturday, at the church, beginning at 9:30 am until time of services at 11:30 am. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach.
