MYRA E. LaFLAMME age 88 of Port Hope, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Cemetery of the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. She was born on Feb 5, 1928 in Detroit, MI and was the daughter of the late Roy and Rita (Hawkins) McDonald. On August 7, 1948, Myra and Lucian LaFlamme were united in marriage in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The couple retired to the Port Hope area and were parishioners of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Lucian of Port Hope and a daughter Rita Welichko and her husband John of Howell and sons Roger LaFlamme and his wife Jill of Bellville and Clinton LaFlamme of Howell. 9 grandchildren. Myra was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother. Cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:30 am in Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church of Holy Name of Mary Parish in Harbor Beach. Fr. Bill Spencer will officiate. A gathering go friends and family will begin at 11am Friday in the church. Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach is handling the arrangements.
