Rudolph (Rudy) A. DiLucia, age 83, joined his love, Mary Ann, on May 19th, 2013. Born on July 22nd, 1929 in Detroit MI, Rudy served in the US Army where he was stationed in Alaska during the Korean war. He worked as a meat cutter at A&P Supermarket for 30 years. Rudy and his late wife, Mary Ann (married 54 years), permanently moved to Harbor Beach MI in 1987. They fell in love with the community and the peace that they found there. They were always happiest when "up north", surrounded by the people they loved. Rudy was active in the American Legion, Knights of Columbus of Harbor Beach and the Lions Club. Survived by his son Chris (Shannon), his son Michael and his daughter Kimberly. Beloved grandfather of Wendy, Megan, Mandy, Michael, Christopher and Jeremy. Great grandfather to Ethan and Makenzie. Loving brother of Ernesto Mezza and devoted brother-in-law of Barbara and JoAnita. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Lake Huron Church on Saturday, June 1st at 11:30AM. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Salvation Army or the Oklahoma Tornado Relief Fund.
