Ramona Iseler Tschirhart

RAMONA ISELER TSCHIRHART, age 91 of Port Hope, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Meadow Lane Assisted Living. She was born on October 14, 1925 in St. Joseph County, to the late Winfield and Ola (Frost) Lawrence. Ramona and John Iseler were united in marriage on November 22, 1944 in Port Hope. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1985. Ramona married Robert Tschirhart on June 23, 1990 in Port Hope. Ramona was a school teacher who taught at many different rural schools and the North Huron Schools. She was a member of the Huron County Teacher Sorority, the Port Hope United Methodist Church, and the UMC Women's Group. She was also vital to the Iseler Dairy Farm and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her husband, Robert Tschirhart of Port Hope, her children: Mary Iseler (Jerry Wilkins) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Neil (Patty) Iseler of Port Austin, Glenn (Joni) Iseler and Marjorie (Jeff) Phillips, both of Kinde, and Keith (Patti) Iseler, Lawrence (Maryann) Iseler, Alvin (Anita) Iseler, Bruce (Susan) Iseler, Scott (Holly) Iseler, and Joanne Schulte, all of Port Hope, stepchildren: Sallie (Wayne) Reithel, Carol (Wayne) Stirrett, Linda (Walter) Schramski, Joann (Willard) Sengstock, Joyce (Don) Koglin, Mary (Frank) Kelley, Pam (Brad) Neal, Nancy (Pat) White, many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, siblings: Jerry (Audrey) Lawrence of Kinde, Valerie (Bill) Batey of North Carolina, Margaret (Tom) Endersbe of Pinconning, and sister-in-law Doris Lawrence of Florida. Ramona was preceded in death by her granddaughter Sheila Iseler Maschke, son-in-law Raymond Schulte, brothers Jean and Dale Lawrence, sisters-in-law Phyllis, Donna and Mary Lawrence, stepson Charles Tschirhart, and step- granddaughter Chandra Koglin. Funeral Service for Ramona will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11 am at the Port Hope United Methodist Church, with Dr. Phil Tousley officiating. Burial will follow in Marquardt Cemetery. Visitation for Ramona will be Friday, from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Saturday will be at the church beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am.
