Robert Daniel Rutkowski

ROBERT D. RUTKOWSKI, age 56 of Harbor Beach, flew up to heaven on the wings of angels Saturday, June 12, 2010 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on November 5, 1953 in Bad Axe to the late Sylvester and Antoinette (Jurkowski) Rutkowski. Bob and Susan Bosch were united in marriage on February 14, 1986 in Bad Axe. Bob served people by working at Huron Memorial Hospital in Bad Axe for nearly thirty years as an x-ray/CT scan technologist and then ten years at Scheurer Hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. His passion was making and perfecting speakers and guitar boxes. He and his good friend Amand Kancherlapalli started Harbor Beach Audio in 1983. His speakers can be heard in many theaters, arena`s, churches and entertainment venues around the state including: Harbor Beach Theatre, Huron County Expo Center, Perani Arena in Flint, and many friends and relatives` homes. He was an avid Tigers and Red Wings Fan, and like his John Wayne Movies. Bob enjoyed his Coca-Cola and candy very much, while working with electronics. Bob also built his dream home on the shores of Lake Huron. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Bob is survived by his wife Susan Rutkowski of Harbor Beach, sons Sean Guitar of Harbor Beach, Kevin Guitar and his wife Chrissy of Harbor Beach, and Meagan Rutkowski of Harbor Beach. Five Grandchildren: Dylan, Haleigh and Spencer Guitar, Bradan Rutkowski and Lucas Guitar. His sisters; Betty Siemen and her husband Bill of Imlay City, Dorothy Kolar of Ubly, Marge Zalewski of Sterling Heights, Josephine Essenmacher and her husband George of Birch Run, and brothers: Tony Rutkowski and his wife Aleta of Ubly, Larry Rutkowski and his wife Lucy of Ubly, Bernie Rutkowski and his wife Delphine of Kinde, father-in-law Dr. Robert Bosch of Harbor Beach, brothers-in-law Mike Bosch of Georgia and Brian Bosch and his wife Jeanne of Harbor Beach. Many nieces & nephews, great and small, too numerous to count, and many treasured friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents Sylvester and Antoinette Rutkowski, beloved niece Jennifer Kolar, and brother-in-law Albert Kolar. Bob felt that his family was his greatest accomplishment. He will always be a hero and role model to them. His light will always be shining in their hearts. Funeral Services for Robert will be Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 1 pm in the United Methodist Church of Harbor Beach, with Rev. Paula Timm officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Robert will be Wednesday from 1-9 pm in the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, and in the church on Thursday beginning at 12 noon until time of services at 1pm.
