Sean T. Murawske

Sean Thomas Murawske – age 18, of Harbor Beach, MI, died January 12, 2014 in Alma, MI. Sean was born November 2, 1995 in Bad Axe, MI the son of Richard and Lori (Will) Murawske. Sean attended Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic School from Kindergarten-8th grade. He graduated with honors from Harbor Beach High School in 2013 where he played basketball for 3 years and baseball for 4 years. He was a freshman at Alma College and was considering a career in Education or Law Enforcement. He had worked at the Harbor Beach Resort. Sean was a member of Holy Name of Mary Parish where he served as a Eucharistic Minister for four years. Sean was kind, caring, quiet, funny, humble and popular. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Sean liked him. He loved sports, especially the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons and LeBron James. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers, with whom he was very close. He liked hanging out with his friends, playing cards, especially pinochle with his grandparents and poker with his brothers, cousins, and uncles. He also loved movies, TV, and music. Sean is survived by parents, Rick and Lori; brothers, Jacob, Daniel and Jonathan; grandparents, Marjorie Murawske, Florence Will, Keith (JoAnn) Will; aunts and uncles, Patti Weber, Pam and Dale Woodke (godparents), Duane and Cheri Murawske, Mary and Randy York, Craig and Lisa Murawske, Jim and Karen Murawske, Sue and Troy Schelke, Diane Zinger, Randy and Deb Will, Connie and Ray Susalla, Deb and Dennis Schave, Barb and Dale Schultz; many, many loving cousins, extended family and friends. Preceded in death by: grandfather, Herbert Murawske; uncles, Ken Will, John Zinger and Rick Weber. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. William Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Sean will be held at Ramsey Funeral Home, Harbor Beach Sunday from 1-9 PM with a Vigil Service at 7 PM and at church Monday at 10 AM until the time of Mass. A Funeral Fund has been set up through Signature Bank. Donations may also be made to Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic School, Harbor Beach Athletic Association/Baseball Team or Alma College Basketball. Sean was well loved and will be forever greatly missed by all who knew him. "What we have once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
